Nashville Fun!

Great weekend in Tennessee last weekend.  Loved seeing Grammy P, Grandpa Jim, Tommy, Dawna, Trey and Josh!  Thank you all for all the fun!

Mommy had a great conference and Daddy flew in to Nashville with no issues and although the ride the way home was long, we made it OK.

On Wednesday Night, Grammy and Jim made some homemade ice cream. You KNOW my boys love their ice cream.

E was too busy sampling!!

Even better with M&Ms!

Thursday Morning the boys were ready to ready to spend all day with Grammy!!

Mookie Mookie and the Big Guy

Breakfast of Champions...Fruit Loops...

Grammy was so excited to take the guys out to the farm!  First thing, tractor time!

  Hey, Hey!

Movin' some bales!

Time for ridin' on the Allie Gator

 Grammy and her Grandbabies

E's legs are JUST long enough to reach the steering wheel for his afternoon relaxation.

E and Grandpa Jim took a nice ride across the farm

Next up, golf cart rides!

Next it was off to the park!

After nap, Grammy and Grandpa Jim had gotten the boys a slip-n-slide...and the boys loved sliding around in the heat!

Grandpa Jim had built this airplane for their Sunday church activities and Aidan got to take it for a fly!

Friday morning, Daddy took a "quasi-vacation" day and went with Grammy and the Boys to Pump it Up!...and you know they were in 7th heaven!

Mookie. Mid-Air. Lovin' it.

The boys loved crashing into these air stick thingys...they called them tater tots :)

The slide was  a big favorite.

Afterwards, it was a lunch at Chick-fil-A and on the way home....surprisingly...this time it was the big guy who zonked out.  The boys had a great time.  Thanks Grammy.

Friday night we headed to Emmy's Aunt and Uncle's house for a great dinner and fun...if you look close below, we also had a Lego explosion with cousin Josh's old Legos.

Standing tall with Big Trey!

 Dem Boys love Legos!!

Thanks everyone for a great weekend!  Wonderful to see you all!

Have a great night!

Happy Father's Day 2012!

Sorry! We're a day late, I know....

Father's Day weekend was smokin' hot and boy did my boys and Mommy give me a wonderful Father's Day!

We all started out on Friday with a good dinner at our favorite little hole-in-the-wall Mexican joint, La Carreta!  Mi amigo Javier is awesome, he always talks to us in Spanish, and 50% of the time I have no clue what he's saying...oh well!

Saturday we divided and conquered so that we could spend our whole day at the pool.  We sure are pool monkeys, we're there every weekend! We love that place!!

E got a birthday present from Papa Steve and awesomely, there were two in the package, so Aidan got to play too....check them out!

Water Spaceships with squirt guns!

Captain EO ready to fly!

I love our pool...look, it's 95 degrees out in the middle of the day on a Saturday and no one is there!  Sweet!

Father's Day was a great day.  Mommy got up early and headed out to get "Bagel boats" (bread sliced bagels from Panera) and Starbucks and we had a nice breakfast at the house.

We had lunch as Smashburger (another fav) and then....yup...headed to the pool!   The weather held out nicely and we had a great time swimming and relaxing.  Wait till you see how good of a swimmer Aidan has become!  He spent most of the day sans blocks!!

Mommy got the boys a cool Daddy's day outfit, so we had to get some pics before lunch....

Look how big these guys are now!!

They love their Daddy!

Mommy had set up a special dinner at arguably one of our most liked restaurants....usually we go alone but this time we took the boys to Bristol's.  They behaved great, ate well and Mommy and I had an outstanding dinner. Mommy with Sockeye salmon and me with halibut with fresh berries, and both of us with lobster mac and cheese....magnificant!

Before leaving,we tried to get some pics in the 95+ degree heat...(summer sucks in STL)....

Silliness...

Finally, only one family member in our family cannot roll their tongue.....can you guess who it is???

It's Mommy!

Have a great night, Happy Belated Father's Day to all!

Ethan's Birthday Day of Fun!

Wow, where to start...well first, Mommy and I are completely whooped.  Today was a whirlwind day of fun times, fun animals, and fun games.

Let's start with Big E's morning.  He got up spent some time resting with Mommy and Daddy on our bed watching YouTube Sesame Street videos while we waited for big brother to wake up.  Then it was immediately time for some presents!

Quite excited to see that we decorated the house for is birthday!

A new giraffe for his collection.

Both he and Allie are excited about the animal Legos!
Thank you Grammy P and Jim for the new T-ball glove...now he and his brother can play catch!

A huge puzzle from Grandpa John!  Thank you!!

Even the big guy was in good spirits this morning!  Probably because that Grammy P and Grandpa Jim and Grandpa John sent him some presents too! Thank you guys!
Both Mommy and E were excited about the giraffe puzzle from Grandma June and Grandpa Bud!  Thank you!

So now we get into the big deal, from Mommy and Daddy, a new big boy bike...and Mickey to boot!

The house was all looking fun for the big Number 3 birthday!

He was so excited to ride that he took a lap in the house....
....and then outside in his PJs!

Breakfast for a king! Thanks Grammy T for the mini-Mickey and Friends waffle maker!

Ready for a fun day, Big Bro and Birthday boy...looking great!

So today was an awesome weather day, low humidity and low 80s temps made a perfect scenario to head to the world famous St. Louis Zoo.

In the kid's zoo havin' fun!

Just look how big this guy is now!  Wow!  He's our baby!

This guy is almost as big a a Pygmy Goat!

And this guy as big as a river otter!!

No fear here...Ethan going right up and petting a goat :)

Daddy, Aidan and a big Grizzly. (look close)

These two are just about inseparable.

Conservation carousel time...you just knew what animal Ethan would pick right?

A big hug from Mommy.

Cool man cruzin' on the jaguar!

Let's get this ride-a-movin' Daddy!

STL Zoo has 9 Asian Elephants including 1 baby who is just about to turn 1.

There she is...hanging out with Mom and Dad.

And taking a little walk.  Look how short her trunk is.  She was feeding with Mom periodically, so I'm sure its a genetic thing so she can actually feed and not have to worry about a huge trunk being in the way. BTW, Aidan LOVED watching the elephants, while Mookie took a nap, we went back here and watched them for a half hour or so.

Giraffes!!! GIRAFFES!! Ethan's favorites!!!

Awesome prints man!

Cool butterfly from the Butterfly House

Two Big Guys sitting together on the Zoo Train!

After dinner, the fun kept rollin' on with dinner and games at Chuck-E-Cheese.

 Brothers Basketball Team

Ethan and Mommy riding a rollercoaster!

Back home, we enjoyed the beautiful weather some more by breaking out the new bike again and riding with big brother...These guys have certainly gotten so big, amazing!

Of course every great shot I get, the background has to be of our dirty neighbors' house.

To go along with the Mickey Birthday, Mommy made cupcakes with blue (as requested by Ethan) frosting...

And the Birthday Song presentation!

The day ended with Mookie's request to have bath in our master bath jet tub with lots of bubbles...

Got 'em!!

That's all, a wonderful day for Ethan and a great family day for us all.  As hard as it is to watch these boys get so old so quickly, it's great that we really blowout and have fun to commemorate these special days...we're dead tired, but it was so worth it.

Have a great night!
