SIX MONTHS!!!

Aidan is six months old today!!! Yeah Aidan!

Daddy has been working for some time on a video to document this huge day, and I'll tell you...I really am happy with how it turned out. For those of you wondering, it took me over 10 hours just to make this 3 minute and 44 second video. Geez...where did I find that time?! Be patient though, I uploaded it as a fairly high quality video; it's about 45MB in size.

And now I present to you, the TyFro Production of:

"Days Go By" ~ By Aidan Matthew Frost

-
Finally, a HUGE Congratulations to Emmy as today she meets her goal for breastfeeding Aidan! Such a great accomplishment and sacrifice that she's made over these 6 months and I'm so proud of her! Not including Aidan's time in the NICU, he's had exactly 3 bottles of formula....that's awesome Emmy, congratulations....I love you!

Have a great day!

Good News all around!!

Hey were back with the Tuesday installment of the Frost Family Adventure.

Got a couple of great news items to cover first. My mom made it sucessfully through her surgery. For those who didn't know, she was diagnosed with breast cancer again a couple of weeks ago. This time though we are nearly certain that she'll not need chemotherapy or radiation after a successful surgery and reconstruction today. We love you Grammy T, we knew that everything would be alright! Now let's focus on a good recovery and well deserved rest and relaxation at the Frost Manor in St. Charles, Missouri!! (When you're ready of course).

Next news, Baby Aidan took GREEN BEANS tonight!! He did awesome, eating about half a container of both carrots and the green beans! Awesome job Mr. A! Here's a couple of shots of his next big food!

Next big news, Mr. Aidan has finally made the belly-to-back roll party! We watched him roll all the way across the room tonight and it was really funny! Now, hopefully he'll roll back on to his back at night (after he's rolled onto his belly)....can you hear full night's sleep ahead??? I can!

Last news, not so big...is that daddy got a promotion on Monday. Really nice to be recognized for my hard work both on the job and in school (both Master's degrees). Some new opportunities have jumped up for me, so I'm really excited about finding my path to excellence! Now my wife, got me a really cool gift for my promotion, it's a sterling silver business card holder from Tiffany's. I told her that it was way too expensive, but she insisted, and hopefully someday I'll get to use it on a regular basis. It's not here yet, but I'll post a picture once I get it because I really think that it is special. So we decided to celebrate tonight with Daddy making a fantastic dinner. First we had White Balsamic Green Beans (see a theme here) with shallots and bacon paired with cheesy hash brown cassarole. The main course was bacon-wrapped filet minon grilled to medium level and topped with a whiskey-garlic heavy whipping cream sauce. And we're finishing it up tonight as I type with a little Chandon Brut champagne, the finest champagne we've ever had under $15 dollars! Here's our dinner tonight (thanks to Grandpa Steve for the Omaha Steak Fillets!!) Let me know if you want the recipe!

Have a great night guys!

We Love You Grammy T!

A mother is love, a mother is comfort.
She is like a tulip; soft and sweet, opening her heart to all during day,
and holding you tight in the calm, cold of night.
And so today, we thank and love our mother
and pray for her with all our might.

We love you Mom, we can't wait until its our turn to hold you tight.

Who the heck is Bob?

Here's Aidan today, while we had hoped for him to try and take a nap this afternoon, he wanted nothing more than to have a detailed conversation with Bob, whoever that is. Either he's talking about Bob, or he wants to be in the mob, either way, he was not sleeping. P.S. He did fall to sleep right after I finished taping! Yeah Aidan!

Enjoy!

Cornholin' and Mr. Fancy!

Hey, hey, I got my "Cornhole" game boards done.....and my CSO (Chief Sewing Officer) sewed me up some awesome corn bags! I'm pretty pleased with how they came out...and can't wait to pull them out for the inaugural game tonight!!!!

We've been trying to get through all of Aidan's clothes (before he gets too big for them) and today we pulled out a new one...a little plaid Polo number that I think looks just fine! What do you think? Mommy took these pictures this morning while Daddy was finishin' up the boards.

So happy...so wonderful!

And more here:

Here's the little man at breakfast:

So you fill in the blank on what you think he's saying:
  • "Second helping's for me please!"
  • "I have a question about this rice cereal."
  • "Me...right here...I had the Carrots and Peas."
  • "Uhhh....Can I get the check please?"
  • "Yeah, I'm #1...Oh you know it baby!"
  • "One more round here, I've got a long day with my parents!"
    • Congrats to our friend Chris Hawn, who Dadddy works with, who got a promotion on Friday! Yeah Chris, Jenn and Charlotte!

      Have a great Saturday,

      Carrots, Books and Polka Dots?!?!

Aidan started his 2nd food last night, carrots! He took them very well and then gobbled down all his peas and all his rice cereal! Nice work Baby A!

The first bite, and Mr. Carrot-face.

      All Done!!!

Then after Mommy got his bath all ready, we took a bath, fed and read "Let's Look", a Baby Einstein book that has lots of colors and things that we have to find "hidden" in the pages. It's a very visual book and by the looks of the pictures below, he liked it in his new Polka Dot sleeper.

Have a great day everyone, thanks for watchin'

      Check this out!

So on Saturday Night, we grilled out shish-kabobs and as I was cleaning up the grill afterwards I heard some rustling in the trees below our deck about 20 feet away. It scared me for a second, but when I looked down there was a baby deer and his/her Momma, just hanging out at the bottom of our hill! I had never seen a deer this close to our house before so I rushed to find the camera and take some shots. Unfortunately, our camera doesn't do great in low light, but here they are anyways. Amazing!

That's all for tonight! We finally got some needed rain today so I'm happy (and so is our grass and garden)!

      Happy First Father's Day!

Happy Father's Day to All Fathers Out There, New and Old!!!

Well, I must tell you, my first Father's Day was an absolute blast! Both Aidan and Mommy are so good to me and I'm so happy to have them. First off, we've started Baby Aidan drinking from a cup. One of our books says that it's a good thing to do to help them start weening from a bottle (whenever that time comes) and to our surprise, that little man does pretty darn well. Here he is showing you!

      Drinkin' from my cup!

Now, onto the Father's Day! Here we are after church, taking the Dad and Son pics. Thank you Grandma June and Grandpa Bud for Aidan's outfit!! Doesn't he look great!

      Having fun with My Dad!

Next we headed off to Godmother Elizabeth's and her parents Bill and Janet's house to embark on a new frontier for Baby Aidan......THE SWIMMING POOL!!! First, because me and that little man are such best buds, we had to dress the same to head out to the pool.

      "I call him, Mini Me"

Aidan did so well in the swimming pool...it was actually like he had been doing it for years!! He never cried, even after Daddy splashed him with a "Parachute Dive". In fact, he even was kicking his legs like he was trying to swim!! How awesome! He is definitely a "water bug"!!!

So here we go....the first "dip" in the pool and playing with Daddy in my Crabbie!

Having a great time with Mom and looking oh so serious while in his floater.
      -

Swimming laps with Daddy and playing BLAST OFF!!

Playing bouncy in the water with Godmother Elizabeth

Posing with Elizabeth and eating my peas for din-din! And he ate them very, very well!!
      -
      -
After dinner swim again with Daddy; Playing Peek-A-Boo with the noodles
      -

Checking the temperature of the pool and the "stunning" pose of the day! Just WOW!!
      -

Finally, "Where'd Daddy Go!" and Full Speed Ahead!!
      -
Whew, I'm exhausted...what a great day, what a great baby, what a great wife....such a wonderful family in the Bialczaks....such special people to us and our son....our most sincere thanks and gratitude for a truly special First Father's Day! We love you all!

      Racing For A Cure!!

Like I said in last night's post, today we got up early and headed downtown for the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure event celebrating Breast Cancer Awareness and Prevention! We were part of Boeing's team, but had our own "team" called "Tanya's Troopers"! My Mom is a breast cancer survivor and we wanted to celebrate and honor her by walking in the race. She is a tremendously strong person who throughout all has battled the cancer and will continue living life to fullest, as a happy and healthy person.

      WE LOVE YOU GRAMMY T!!!!!

We are all wearing buttons (including Baby Aidan on his stroller) that has the logo below on it, to let my Mom know that she was here with us today in spirit and that next year she'll walk in the race with us as a "Pink Shirt" survivor.

Here's some pictures of us at the race this morning:

Mr. Funny with his Grammy T Button!

Daddy and Baby getting ready to race!

Mommy and Baby getting ready to race!

My dedication to my Mom.....I love you Mom!!

Looking Down the Race Line, Can you believe all those people??!! They said that there could have been over 70,000 this year!!!

Mommy and Daddy action shots, both with Aidan deep in sleep!!

The FINISH LINE!!! YEAH, WE MADE IT!!!

The Frost Family feeling good in the hot St. Louis sun!!

Have a great night everyone, tomorrow's Daddy's first official Father's Day, so I'm sure we'll have some more great postings!!
