Racing For A Cure!!

Like I said in last night's post, today we got up early and headed downtown for the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure event celebrating Breast Cancer Awareness and Prevention! We were part of Boeing's team, but had our own "team" called "Tanya's Troopers"! My Mom is a breast cancer survivor and we wanted to celebrate and honor her by walking in the race. She is a tremendously strong person who throughout all has battled the cancer and will continue living life to fullest, as a happy and healthy person.

We are all wearing buttons (including Baby Aidan on his stroller) that has the logo below on it, to let my Mom know that she was here with us today in spirit and that next year she'll walk in the race with us as a "Pink Shirt" survivor.

Thank you all for doing the "Race for the Cure"...it means alot to me that my family stands beside me in this fight! I love you all so much and God willing will be here many years to come to St.Louis to do the Race with all of you. I am the luckiest "Grammy" in the world!
