Got a couple of great news items to cover first. My mom made it sucessfully through her surgery. For those who didn't know, she was diagnosed with breast cancer again a couple of weeks ago. This time though we are nearly certain that she'll not need chemotherapy or radiation after a successful surgery and reconstruction today. We love you Grammy T, we knew that everything would be alright! Now let's focus on a good recovery and well deserved rest and relaxation at the Frost Manor in St. Charles, Missouri!! (When you're ready of course).
Next news, Baby Aidan took GREEN BEANS tonight!! He did awesome, eating about half a container of both carrots and the green beans! Awesome job Mr. A! Here's a couple of shots of his next big food!
Next big news, Mr. Aidan has finally made the belly-to-back roll party! We watched him roll all the way across the room tonight and it was really funny! Now, hopefully he'll roll back on to his back at night (after he's rolled onto his belly)....can you hear full night's sleep ahead??? I can!
Last news, not so big...is that daddy got a promotion on Monday. Really nice to be recognized for my hard work both on the job and in school (both Master's degrees). Some new opportunities have jumped up for me, so I'm really excited about finding my path to excellence! Now my wife, got me a really cool gift for my promotion, it's a sterling silver business card holder from Tiffany's. I told her that it was way too expensive, but she insisted, and hopefully someday I'll get to use it on a regular basis. It's not here yet, but I'll post a picture once I get it because I really think that it is special. So we decided to celebrate tonight with Daddy making a fantastic dinner. First we had White Balsamic Green Beans (see a theme here) with shallots and bacon paired with cheesy hash brown cassarole. The main course was bacon-wrapped filet minon grilled to medium level and topped with a whiskey-garlic heavy whipping cream sauce. And we're finishing it up tonight as I type with a little Chandon Brut champagne, the finest champagne we've ever had under $15 dollars! Here's our dinner tonight (thanks to Grandpa Steve for the Omaha Steak Fillets!!) Let me know if you want the recipe!
Have a great night guys!

All such wonderful news. Congrats to Daddy Ty, great job! Hurray for Grammy T. I hope her recovery is smooth and, as you said, she gets some deserved R&R.
The meal looks like something from a 5 star restuarant.
And Baby A, what a little man! Looks like he is going to be a very good eater and love his veggies!
See you Friday!
Love,
Mom
Nummy. I can't wait until we can cook with gusto at our house again! I wish Keiran still ate green beans too.
Congrats Tyler!
We are praying for Grammy T from Indy... I feel like we know her!
