Picture Time!

Sorry I didn't post last night, Blogger was down :o(

We headed down to Portrait Innovations again yesterday to get pictures; Aidan's 3 and a half and Ethan's 1 year, respectively! The boys were very good and the pictures, well, they speak for themselves.  More to post later, but enjoy these tonight!

Well, let's start with the best. Honestly, Aidan probably has has over 15,000 pictures taken of him. This picture below is the best, it is stunning. It encompasses everything that this little boy is, how big he's getting and how bright his future is. It is just amazing...I can't believe that Emmy and I created such a beautiful boy..ahhhhh....

And Ethan, this picture (in Emmy and my Top Ten Favorites), is so gentle. Shows all Ethan's personality, his calm nature, his amazing blue eyes, every little curve of those cheeks. We are so thankful for these two angels....

And the fam, looking good!

The brothers' Frost...having fun and loving each other....all the time!

Here's the rest of the best, please do enjoy!

We got lots of prints, so if your on the list, you should see some in the mail sometime next week!

Have a great night, lots of fun coming up this weekend (Ethan's 1st B-day!) so keep your eyes on the blog!

A New Experience and an Old Reliable!

Happy Holiday Weekend Everyone,

We've definitely made the most of ours so far with a couple of excursions into the fun of Missouri.

First, in the over 7 years that we've been in St. Louis, we had never been to Grant's Farm, a property that is owned by the Anhuesier-Busch family and that houses many exotic animals from all over the world. ...until now!

Saturday we packed up the crew and headed down early (you have to go early) to Grant's Farm. We got there, waited just a few minutes and then boarded a tram for about a 20 minute tour of the farm. It has history all the way back to Ulysses Grant and is quite beautiful (oh, and there is free beer!). We saw all sorts of fun animals, from buffalo to zebras, from elephants to eagles and even a camel or two! And this is one of the homes for the famous Budweiser Clydesdales, so we saw a few of those as well. Here's some pictures!

Buffalo and some baby buffs

Aidan and the buffs

A Scottish Longhorn, "Nice 'do dude!"

Kangaroos, two eating cereal, two eating lettuce, carrots and broccoli!

Somebody was calling this camel, "Alice", really? Like from the song, "Alice the camel has two humps...."

Daddy, Aidan and a camel.

We lucky were walking by the Elephant show with "Bud" right when it was starting. So we sat and watched and it was really great! Here's bud doing a pose! (Note he's 13,200 pounds)

Here he is stretching his trunk 22 ft in the air to grab a ball! Whoa, Bud!

Some lucky fans in the front row were the recipients of this shower, courtesy of Bud.

Some parrots, Aid liked their colors.

Now onto the carousel. Best $2 I've spent! Aidan couldn't stop smiling!

Still smiling!

Having the time of his life!

Next was onto lunch, they have an German themed beergarten there, so Mommy and I got our two free samples (they are like 8 oz!!) and had sauerkraut and brats, while Aid had a hot dog. It was really good.

`
Aidan did great on lunch, so a snow cone was in order. Strawberry in fact!

Next it was onto the Clydesdales, here Aid got to pet big Jerry. Aidan's favorite horse though was Big Jake. Who was appropriately, VERY big!

Here's a mom and her baby...

Today, we started off the day with a bike ride! It was Ethan's first time in the "capsule" and he did pretty well. It was hot and sunny, so we had to cut it a little short, but all in all we had two happy passengers!

Boys ready for a ride!
`
After that, we did our normal errands for Sunday and the boys took great naps while Mommy worked in the house and Daddy washed the cars. Then, it was back to an 'ol summer time ritual, the swimming pool. This time, Mommy and Ethan got to come with us! It was Ethan's first time at a pool here in Missouri, and he loved it! And Aidan was a very brave little boy and went down the water slide, ALL BY HIMSELF! What a big guy!

The coolest thing about this swim place is the huge dumping bucket of water! Check it out!

So that's it folks, 2/3rds of the holiday weekend done and we've had a great time! Hope all your holiday plans have been great.

Thanks for reading and have a great night,

It's Heatin' Up!

Well, summer was upon us this weekend with temps in the upper 80s both days. Spring goes by so fast here in St. Louis that you really have to take advantage of those 70 degree days!

We had quite a busy weekend here. All day Saturday and Sunday Daddy worked on the house, and I'm talking 8AM til 5 PM. Mommy was a godsend by taking care exclusively of the little guys all weekend long and running them through the gamet of tasks that we do every weekend while I worked. Thank you Mommy.

This weekend I was able to powerwash about 3/4 of the house, powerwash and seal the driveway, powerwash (I love to powerwash) the deck after replacing 10-12 boards that had rotten and then I painted/stained the deck. It was arduous and I am tired. But all the things that were done needed to be done in preparation for Ethan's big #1 party in June.

But alas, there was some time to play...here's some pictures and a movie from today:

We finally convinced Aidan to drive in his go-kart that he got for his FIRST birthday. Up until now he had been scared of it, but now, we can't get him out of it!

While Aidan was off qualifying for the Indy 500, Mommy found herself a little laundry helper...

This morning Mommy found a task that wears both boys out....and they loved it!

One of Aid's favorite things to do as an infant was take rides in the laundry basket...now we have a double!

After all the work was done today, Daddy needed to cool off so out came the beach ball! It took a little coaxing to get Aidan to drive in it, but he did in the end!

Ethan loved watching his big brother get wet!

Some of E's transition to table food has been difficult, but not tonight, he LOVED Daddy's ribs on the Weber Grill! Yum!

Have a great night,

Ty, Emmy, Aidan and Ethan
