So I've been putting so much faith that on Wednesday the baby's gender will be revealed. I really hope that the baby is down with cooperating with me.
Emmy's feeling really well, growing in all the good ways. She thought on Saturday night that she felt the baby move/kick/etc, which was really exciting for her. It just so happened that I was studying and we were listening to classical music. When the song came to a big crescendo ending, the baby kicked! Yeah baby! Maybe you'll be a conductor or a musician someday.
Speaking of music, we decided to give in to the "current" prenatal fad of playing classical music to the little one. So we splurged and purchased the Bebe sounds system with microphone and fetal speakers so that she can "rock out" in the amniotic sac. Plus, I've been reading "Goodnight Moon" to him or her every night before bedtime. We have friends who did this and now Hannah is very tuned to knowing that this book means it's time to go to bed, including getting fussy near the end (because she know's it's near the end), when the "old lady says "hush"". Pretty cool, huh? We're amassing books for the little one all the time and are up to about 10 so far. I'll post a new column later with all the books we have, just in case you run across a good deal (I'll pay ya back!).
And finally, we bought and put together the crib and changing table this weekend. Maybe a little early, but we're just so darn excited....what can you do!?

Well, the big post will come as soon as I get back to work from the 10:30A appointment on Wednesday. I've got both announcement videos ready to fly (which you'll have to watch to see what it is!!!)

Such exciting stuff! Can't wait for it all to happen :) I'm not sure if I read Goodnight Moon to you guys....probably not. Spencer would have wanted "Put me in the Zoo" by Dr. Suess and Natalie would have probably wanted "I'll Love You Forever". Tyler, I think we read you the Encyclopedia's....
Ha, Ha! Serious! I do remember that you liked to play games before bedtime.....like Concentration.....we should have known then that we had a "rocket scientist" on our hands! Good Luck on wednesday :)

What ever you do, DON'T buy the follow up book to Goodnight Moon (My World). It STINKS! And if your little one likes it you'll have to read it a million times. I hid Keiran's.
Keiran would tell you that the best book in the world is Sandra Boynton's Belly Button Book. (And it is my favorite to read to him). Keiran highly recommends it.
