Emmy was 80% effaced and 1.5 cm dialated today at our appointment!!
We were given the choice and have together with Dr. Thompson decided to have her induced on Tuesday, December 26 at 4PM for Aidan's large size. Using the standard average of 18 to 24 hours for first time laboring, that would put Aidan's arrival sometime in the afternoon on Wednesday the 27th.....
And who had him coming on 12/27 at 4PM per the Baby Delivery Pool? Hmmm, how about...me.
Awesome! Can't wait to meet you Baby A, we're all so glad that your 40 week flight is about to land!

Yay... Baby Aidan will soon be here!! Were just waiting for the call... I have a feeling it will be sooner than next Tuesday!! Maybe even on CHRISTMAS!!! He'll be getting double presents his whole life!! Hang in there Em... its almost over. Talk to you all soon!!

Awww, such a cute "eviction notice" Tyler! How funny! I think that Baby Aidan has his Daddy's sense of humor because believe me...he will arrive before being evicted! That's what Dr.Galbreath said when they set my date to induce Natalie "now that a date has been set, that baby will come before it, just to prove you wrong"!!! He was right! Natalie was born 1 day before the induction date :) Hang in there Em, Ty and Allie! It won't be long....

Hi Ty and Emmy! The eviction notice was awesome - enjoy those moments you have to do things like that now cause it's all about to change!
Emmy, remember that the whole 18-24 hour labor thing is an AVERAGE. My first and only came in less than 12 hours! You go girl....and Baby Aidan, take it easy on your Mama!

Best of luck to you two! I was induced and Poppy came out in 9 hours! Epidurals are wonderful!!!!
