Hey, Hey, we're doing great today!
Baby Aidan did just fine overnight! No incidences, great feeding (75ml per time!). Heard from both our Neuro Doc and Pediatrician this morning and they both are giving great news about his continued performance. They like seeing that he's eating well, and...he hasn't had any reflux events since yesterday morning, so perhaps his digestive system is starting to adapt to Mom's milk.
We had an uneventful night here. Mom's been pumping real well, having no problems and feeling really confident about breastfeeding. We both slept really, really well last night with minimal tears about not having him home with us. I'm just trying to keep Mom's spirits up as the rollercoaster of post-partum keeps rollin' along.
I'm doing well, just in awe of that football game last night. Did any of you see that? Boise State is some kind of football team, running both a "Hook and Ladder" play and the "Statue of Liberty", that was just so fun to watch, I was screaming it was so good!
We're going to head over the the Hospital today around noon. Aid goes in for his GI study (for reflux) and is going to be visited by opthalmology (to check his retinas for any pressure related problems, which are fully expected by all our docs to be OK).
Keep praying and thinking positive thoughts, he's doing great and it's because of you!
Tyler
PS: I'll get some more pictures later today when we visit!
