Mission Accomplished!

So we made through our big road trip across the country!! Aidan did great...no fussiness, lots of sleeping and he got to watch "Cars" and "Curious George" for the first time. And Mom and Dad, though very sleep deprived, made it through the trip as well. It took us about 10 hours to get there (that's 8 and a half driving and 1 and a half hours feeding) and only about 9 to get home, since Mister A was able to go with only two feedings (as opposed to 3 on the way there). It's nice to be home though, the comforts, confines and routines are all now back to normal.

We had a great time in Ohio visiting with Emmy's family. Thank you so much for your wonderful hospitality (and cherry pie, Grandma June!) it was all wonderful! It was so nice seeing you...it's a shame we're not any closer. But life is life and they don't make fighter jets in Tuscarawas County, (but you know that if they did we'd be there!). Anyways, it was great being able to see BOTH Grammies, Grandpa John, Great Grandpa Bud, Great Grandma June, Cousins Stacie, Craig, and Chris and all others who came by to see our little man. Now you wouldn't believe what I did with this picture. Grammy P had her eyes closed, so I took her head from a different shot (in which she's smiling) and pasted it back on to her in this picture. Can't tell that this was done can you????
