Today we experienced one of the most amazing times that I have ever seen a hospital (let alone any company) put on for their employees. Emmy's hospital, St. John's rented out Busch Stadium and provided hot dogs, pretzels, brats, drinks...you name it for all of its 7000+ employees and family members. They had tours of the field (since the Cardinals were playing in Arizona) and of the dugouts. We took full advantage of all of this and absolutely had a blast! Auntie Elizabeth came with us and got Aidan a Build-A-Fredbird (for those who do not know, Fredbird is the mascot of the St. Louis Cardinals). So Aidan and I got to stuff the bird and Aidan got to kiss its heart and put it into "Aidan Fredbird" (that's what we named him). Auntie Elizabeth then bought him Fredbird's Car to go along with him. She is so amazing....Aidan is a very lucky little godson indeed. All in all, a really genuine and fantastic gesture by Emmy's company (ya hear that Boeing...St. John's is a not-for-profit company and they do this for their employees!!) In any case, we took 104 pictures....so enjoy some below:

-
Aidan meeting his Fredbird for the first time and his Birth certificate.

Stuffin' Up the Bird!

-
Giving the heart of Fredbird a kiss (then then put that into the bird and sew him up) and then licking his fingers clean!

Just Sitting in Section 156, Row 12, Seat 5 checkin' out the game on the Jumbotron. Check out too those "cleats" he's wearing...courtesy of Grandpa John!

Hangin' with my Auntie E, I sure love her!

Ahhh....sleepyhead on the field (!) with Mom and Dad and posing by Cardinal Retired #6, Stan the Man Musial

-
Funny Story: After I took the picture on the left, I told Mommy to do something with Aidan so he doesn't look like a passed out sailor, so she did the picture on the right. Funny!

-
Daddy givin' it up for the Bud Light sign in the outfield and showing you exactly how tall the outfield walls are....they're pretty tall.

-
What the scoreboard looks like to an outfielder standing on the "warning track" and Mr. Sleepy
-
-
Mommy, Daddy, Aidan and Elizabeth sitting in the Cardinals' dugout...yes the real dugout!
-
-
Daddy about to make the call to the bullpen and the view from sitting near home plate (check out that arch!)
-
These next pictures were taken with Aidan sitting on the grass just behind the home plate. Some lady asked us if she could take his picture because he looked so cute sitting there playing with the grass. Agreed...he was awesome for these pics....so awesome that a bunch of other people put their babies down on the grass and got in trouble for being on the grass...oops!

Finally, sitting along the backstop behind home plate with Dad and sitting out front with his Fredbird and Fredbird's car.
