Mommy got a new job!

Emmy is now the Medication Safety Officer for St. John's Mercy Medical Center's 950+ bed hospital! Yeah Mommy! Basically she is now responsible for the medication safety programs of the hospital. She'll be influential in the hospital's compliance with all state and federal mandates on medication safety and be responsible for reviewing areas for potential improvement, risk to patients and will provide guidance to continue the hospital's accrediation and certification of service. Her role will utilize her Master's in Health Management (finally!) that she got about a year and a half ago. And since she's still at the hospital, Aidan can stay at his day school!

WE ARE SOOOOOO PROUD OF YOU, MOMMY!!

We know that her new job will have its challenges, but we also know that she's very strong willed and has unbelievable compassion for the safety of patients. I know you're sad to be leaving such great co-workers in Clinical Informatics, Auntie Elizabeth, Joy and Mike especially, but they will always be there for you, and you for them. I thank them for making your last two years there so enjoyable!
