O - "Hi!" - O

A real boater is a serious boater....look at Aidan, so serious!

And we're back....

Our whirlwind trip around Ohio was a success! Aidan, Mommy and Daddy survived a long weekend of seeing friends and family while Allie held the fort down just fine in St. Louis!

First off, thank you to all who housed us, fed us and just hung out with us. It was phenomenal seeing you all and we are so missing you all already!

The big summer trip of '08 started with an early morning flight out of STL to Columbus, Ohio. Aidan was right on his game, successfully identifying every bus and airplane that he saw...and we saw alot! Then on the plane he continued his great behavior by falling asleep for the entire flight....what a great passenger!

Here he is looking for some jets and sleeping on aisle seat.

Next it was off to meet up with Aunt Natalie at her salon near the campus of Ohio State. She's only 8 weeks away from finishing her training at the Aveda Institute and we are very proud of you for that! Grandpa John then met up with us at the Center for Science and Industry, also known as COSI, which was a great place for Aidan to see, explore and play. Here's a few shots of him having a great time!

Going down the Slide and Navigating the Bridge!

On the "Pulley Seat" and watching balls float on water! Wow!

Driving the ambulance....lights on!

Funny story, Aidan's newest word is "Bus", so at the COSI store he spotted a bus that we just had to get. He played with it for about 3 minutes once we got back to the car and then this happened.....sleepytime :)

Grandpa John took us out for a great dinner afterwords and after Aidan's power nap and a quick dip in the hotel pool, he was ready to be fun again!

It was great seeing you Grandpa John, thank you so much for coming down to see us in Columbus!!!

Friday Morning we took off early to head to Findlay, home of Grammy T and GPA Steve!

Grammy T took us to lunch and then to the pool, which Aidan loved of course. Next we met up with Great Grammy Nancy and her sister Aunt Pat for dinner. Grandma Nancy loved him, she couldn't believe how tan he was!!! Our good friend Nick and Bri and Chad and Danielle, with their ~20 month old son Cohen came over for a little while after dinner. It was amazing to see how Aidan and Cohen played in "parallel" but still had a good time! Here's a few shots from Friday.

Crusin' in his convertible "Cozy Coupe" and having fun with his bud, Cohen!

Saturday, we fired up the rental car again (BTW it was a PT Cruiser, suggest passing on that one if anyone is interested in getting one of those...they're kinda booty). So the three of us in the PT headed to Cleveland to attend a Housewarming Party for my friends Dan and Mary. They have a great house in Fairview Park and had all sorts of games to play, including Aidan's favorite, "Corn Hole." Spurred by some great cooking by Uncle Don, we really had a great time at the party!

Using Uncle Aaron's "Corn Hole" board as a slide and being cool with Uncle Kev.

-
Posing nice with Uncle Aaron and then showing him who's boss!!!!

Jumping like a monkey on the couch with Uncle Dan...so fun! Thanks Dan and Mary, you're hospitality was impeccable.

Sunday was pretty nice out, so we met GPA Steve in Port Clinton, Ohio to go out into Lake Erie on a boat ride. It took Aidan awhile to get warmed up to the boat thing, I think he really didn't like his life jacket, but oh well. We did get some fun shots of him as we cruised around the lake and Sandusky River. -

Hanging with his favorite mate, Mommy and Oh Wow, look who's driving the boat! It's Captain Aidan!! He does planes, boats..heck he can do it all!!!!
-

Gosh, you guys, I love that baby. And all three Frost's, cruisin' da lake!

Sunday Afternoon, we headed back to my Dad's for some more pool time! This kid loves the poooool!!
-

Fun time at the pool!!!
-

Playing with Aunt Natalie and GMA Liz!
-
After a good dinner, we were treated to "Piano Concerto No. 5" by Aidan later assisted by his step-cousin (?) Ava. They really had a lot of fun together!

Tickle them ivories Aidan! and It's a duet!!
-

Finally the trip ended today without any major issues. Aidan slept most of the flight home and then Elmo helped us out with a little entertainment for the rest of the way.
-
All in all, a great weekend...I'm so happy that we were able to accomplish each and every item that I thought we should do, with a happy baby to boot!! As such, I dub this another Mission Accomplished! Thank you to Mommy who at every step along the way was the leading and helping hand to make things go so smoothly, you are the best and I am very lucky to have you!

Well, that's like the longest post I've ever written, it's taken me about 5 hours with interruptions to do...but I wanted to share our time with you, our friendly bloggers and for us in capturing these great memories!

Have a great night,
Ty, Emmy and Aidan
