Vroom, Vroom!

Don't ask my how or why, but today Aidan got the inkling to try to get into his Fredbird car that Auntie Elizabeth got him at the Cardinals' game last year. I'd say he barely fits!

Another pretty quiet weekend this weekend, as you can see from the picture we did do another haircut for the little guy. It went as well as the last one; kicking, screaming and crying. I'll tell you, those ladies can really cut some hair. With kids squirming around and screaming, it's amazing that they haven't cut someone's ear off!

We went to Toys R Us last night and we have found Aidan's next love, trains. They have a Brio-like train table set up there that we literally had to pull him away from. Luckily Aunt Jenn and Uncle Aaron got him a starter train set for his birthday that we had put away until he was ready for it....and sure enough, now, he IS ready! He must have played with that thing for an hour! So, our next project is either building him a Brio Train Table or finding a good deal on some trains on Ebay!

Lastly tonight, Aidan has decided to take-off, literally. He has really started climbing on things, here's a shot of him taking on the coffee table.

Well, we are really getting ready for the big trip to Southwest Florida on Friday....and watching Tropical Storm Fay very, very closely. Right now, she is pretty disorganized and the National Hurricane Center is having a hard time figuring out where she'll go and how strong she'll be. Over the course of the last few days, they've moved the target farther and farther west and as of tonight, the Ft. Myers area is not supposed to get the "eye" of the storm, which obviously is very good. Overall though, the storm should be long gone by Friday and we're hoping for nice weather to spend with my family that lives down there and some relaxing times at Grammy P's friend and boss Cindy and Leon's Bonita Springs Vacation House. Sometime later this week I have an awesome video to post that I made using Microsoft Live Maps that takes you on a satellite trip of our trip. I'm sure you can barely wait. :-)

Finally tonight, can you believe that Michael Phelps, man that Friday night race was amazing! One one-hundreth of a second! That's roughly the same speed as what we see in a lightning bolt. Unbelievable!

Well, hope you all had a great weekend. Have a great night!

So cute!~ That Auntie Elizabeth is something, isn't she??? I love that Aidan is finding his "climbing legs"!!! Oh my goodness! Watch that little booger! We don't want any cuts and stitches ... like Aunt Natalie!
He is adorable with the "summer cut" hair-do. The Halbisen's in Florida and Nene and Grandpa Bert will fall in love with this little guy. I so wish I could be there to see their reactions... I know that Nene is so excited!!! Have a safe trip and I will call before you leave....

Love you all soooooo much!

Funny guy :)

We still have issues with haircuts. It seems to have lasted longer than any other little kid "issue". I hope it gets better for you faster than it has for us!

We have a train table... At Target every holiday season they have lots of seasonal toys. Every year they seem to have a train table. We waited until after Christmas and got it for less than fifty bucks. It is just as nice as the Thomas ones. Keep your eyes peeled... they are expensive, but I have seen them on sale quite a few times!
