Feeling "Blue"

The Basement Project has begun....

After weeks and weeks of delays, mostly because I was so busy with work, the basement project was kicked off this weekend! We started with some "blue board" (hence the post title), which will act as a vapor barrier between the colder and more moist poured concrete walls and our new room downstairs. Papa Steve should be here in a week or so to help me frame it out and run electricity, so now were rollin'!
`
I'm pretty excited to get this going, just after putting up the blue board, you can start to "see" the room size and imagine what it will be like for Aidan to have a nice playroom and the Grammy's, Papa's and friends to have a nice place to sleep downstairs.
`
`
We've officially hit the "Weird Smile" Phase
`
`
We WERE HERE! and modeling Daddy's new Miter Saw....NICE!
`
Other than that, it was a pretty quiet weekend here. Rained some but was warm enough for us to have all our windows open. By the end of this week were supposed to be in the 80s!
`
Have a great night and we'll talk to you Wednesday for the Baby Ethan Thomas update!

The basement will absolutely be awesome with that little helper. They just don't get any cuter!

Good Luck with the new project.

Love and kisses

I must agree with Grammy P! He is the cutest little helper I have ever seen :)

I would say to take your time on the basement however, once little Ethan Thomas gets here, your focus will be elsewhere :) But how exciting it will be when completed! A play room for two rambunctious boys. Does it get any better???

Glad you had a great week-end! Have a great week also and we can't wait to hear how Baby Ethan is doing!!!

Love to all!
