ICE CREAM TRUCK!!!! AHHHHH!!!!

Well the Grammies for sure know how big Aidan is right now into Ice Cream Trucks. He hears that annoying song from it seems miles away...and then we wait for it. Well tonight, our "ICTDAR" (Ice Cream Truck raDAR) went off like crazy and we found ourselves running to the door to see it. Typically we just wave and watch, but tonight we went all in....we actually purchased something! I had cash so I figured what the heck. Aidan got a HUGE popsicle and Daddy and Mommy split a snow cone...all for the grand total of $4 bucks. But really, it was the experience that made it priceless..Aidan was one with the Ice Cream Truck...and all was good in the world!

Here are a few pictures....

Daddy WAY TO INTO the Ice Cream Truck Song

A daunting challenge...the BIG popsicle!!

Mommy went out and got a little pool for Aidan and we played in it tonight. It's a pretty cool pool because it has a shade that you can attach that covers the whole surface, so when the sun is beatin' down you can stay coooooool at the pooooool!

Having fun and dumpin' on Daddy!

OK now on to Mr. E. Knock on wood, cross your fingers, etc, etc...this kid is a much better sleeper than Aidan was. Sunday night he went from 1030P to 330A and last night he went from 830P until I woke him up at 230A (because I thought, "Man, he must be hungry"). Honestly, we think he probably would have slept another 2 hours. And...I owe it all to the swaddle.

Loves that swaddle!

Other than that, both Mom and Ethan are doing great. The umbilical stump fell off yesterday which was good. He's been eating really well and lifting his head up lots during "tummy time". Aidan, of course, is still the over-loving brother. Always, wanting to help him when he is crying and to tickle his cheeks when he is awake. Daddy's return to work was uneventful and Mommy has been able to get out and about several times to avoid "cabin fever". Now if we could only get the weather to cooperate a little bit (it's currently 96F with a heat index of 103F) so we can take walks everything would be perfect!

Here's some pictures of the little men...enjoy!

Two little turtles and a big stretch

Ethan is like seriously long...a "stretch" model so to speak!
Brotherly love....

And hanging out with his Dad...amazing!
Have a great night everyone!

And look at the name on that "ice cream truck"??? FROSTY TREATS!

It was meant to be Daddy! Soooooo
cute! I can just see those big brown eyes get as big as saucers when the truck came on your street! Oh how I wish I was there
:) I can hear that lovely music!!!
Ah, those were the days! I love the "popsicle holder" that makes it a "moom rocket"!!! How did he make it to his mouth???

I wish you another wonderful night of blissful sleep. Poor Aid! He just had so many problems at the beginning! Who knows, maybe without the Phenabarbitol he could have been a great sleeper???

Love the pool :)

Love,
Mom

What cute little boys you have! Ethan looks like he was made to be cuddled. And Aidan's smiles are just unbeatable.

Thanks for making my day with some new pics.

Love you all!!

We are also really into the ice cream truck. It's like little boys have stealth hearing! We hear them down the road to many miles away...LOL!
