Well, Nashville..er..Thompsons Station...anyways, it was a very, very successful trip! Both boys were well behaved, both on the inbound and outbound rides and during the stay. Ethan was adored by all as was our little entertainer, Aidan, who, single-handedly provided all the laughs for three straight days and nights.
We started out on our voyage Saturday morning and everyone was all smiles ready to meet Emmy's family.

Peggy's fiance Jim had a great idea and put together a trough and a couple of bags of sand to make a sandbox for Aidan to play in. It was a ton of fun as Aidan went all out playing with his big dump trucks, front end loaders and bulldozers.
As many know, Aidan has really taken a liking to Emmy's cousins, especially Josh. They played and played and after a full night at his house Aidan asked, "Can Josh come with us? and He's a really cool guy!". He is, and we thank him for being such a cool guy to Aidan!
One of the main purposes of our trip down there was to see Emmy's Grandparents, Bud and June. They both really enjoyed seeing the two great-grandbabies and we surely were happy to see them as well. Here they are with our guys!

And at Aunt Dee's having lots of fun with Grammy P and Jim!

Emmy's Aunt Suzie, or as Aidan called her, "Aunt Zoozie" was there too! She loved hanging out with our little man.
We had one rough night of sleep, which we think was because everyone was overtired. After the first night we switched off to the new "Cars and Trucks" jammies and surprisingly, he slept like an angel the rest of our stay!
On Monday night, Grammy P hosted a big shindig at her house with all the family. It was a wonderful night of family among all, but it also was a surprise birthday party for Emmy, who's birthday is just about 2 weeks away! Aidan brought out the balloons and Grammy P followed with the cake!
Finally here's Aid with some new headphones he got for the DVD player on the way back. Surprisingly he did pretty good with them, which was great because we were dreading having to listen to 5 hours of Bob the Builder's "Building a Road" song.
We really want to thank everyone for the gifts and hospitality that you gave us over the last few days! We are so thankful that we were blessed with these two children who can provide you, our family, with some of the best feelings and happiness that life brings. You all are very special to us and we love you very much.
Have a wonderful night,
Ty, Emmy, Aidan and Ethan

PS: Hooray for Grammy P and Jim! Isn't it great that they know just what to do to make Aidan happy and content! We need a movie of those "dig-digs" in the sand!!!!!

Got home Friday Evening from Tn. One of our highlights of the trip was being able to see the Frost Family!!! Ty and Em, Thank you so much for your commitment to see G Grandma and pa. I know that was a hugh undertaking and I greatly appreciate you both. Little Ethan captured my heart and Little Aiden, well what can I say, that little guy has me wrapped right around his little finger. I don't know when I have laughed so much. What a comedian. Again thank you so much for making the trip, it was sure a delight getting to see all of you and meeting little Ethan!!
Lots of love being sent your way.
