Here's the tale of the tape:
Weight: 15 pounds, 9.5 ounces (making him 70th percentile)
Height: 27 and 1/8" long (making him 98th percentile)
Developmentally: 6 month+
So, he's doing grrrrreat!!
This past weekend we had a wonderful trip to Cleveland for Uncle Dan (and now Aunt Mary)'s wedding!
Ethan did wonderful on his first plane ride, and Aidan did great too on his first "paying" plane ride. On the way there, after a complete mess at SuperPark, which we suggest that no one who reads this blog ever, ever should park at, and an uneventful trip through security, we loaded up Aid's DVD player with "Ratatouille" and we were on our way! Here's some pictures from the flight over!

Mommy and Ethan and Aidan ready for take-off!
Grammy T and Aunt Natalie drove over from Findlay to meet us and take care of the boys during the reception and had a lot of fun with the little guys!
Finally the big day for Dan and Mary came, and Daddy was in the wedding as a groomsman. I should interject here with a little story that truly touched my heart, and I want to capture it here so someday when I'm old I can look back and read how special this moment was for me.
By pure chance (I was the first one down the aisle, thus I sat at the end of the pew), Dan and Mary had asked me to be the Eucharistic Minister for their service. The EM is basically the guy who gives out the host during mass. I thought it was a really cool gesture and remembered that as an EM, when a child or a non-Catholic comes up to the front to receive the host, you can give them a blessing. Well, who has two little children??? So, when Emmy, Aunt Natalie and the boys came forward, I was able to bless my children with the hand of God. It was a powerful and moving experience, one that I probably won't ever get again. I told them, "May God be with you, Aidan (Ethan) my son, for ever and ever". Father Greg the presider of the service pulled me aside afterward and said how nice that was and that he had never had anyone do that before. I though it was darn cool...and I hope and pray that God watches these boys for all their lives.
Ok, back to the wedding and reception.
It was a great time seeing all my old buddies and the wedding and reception were really nice. Thanks to Grammy T and Natalie for watching and having fun with our boys!

Daddy and the guys, and the happy couple!
We met up with Uncle Aaron on Sunday for lunch at Melt Bar and Grilled (which has been featured on Food Network's Diners, Drive-ins and Dives with Guy Fiori) and then again later for ice cream. Here's the boys!
All in all, great news today to report. Ethan is doing very, very well and we were able to handle flying with two boys!
Have a great night!

Hooray! So happy for Baby Ethan that he is so healthy and so smart. I am so happy for you all! He is indeed as "cute as a little bugs ear"!!! The sweetest and most easy going baby I have ever seen! I love the pics I have of him sleeping on the bed at the hotel. I will forward them to you! He's got his little arms behind his head and he is dreaming peacefully :)
We had a ball! But I miss you all so much! It isn't fair that you are so far away! Natalie and I were absolutely "smitten" with these children! It was funny how Aidan bonded to both of us so quickly! I hope that we will always be able to be his Grammy and Auntie!
Your accounting of the blessing brought tears to my eyes then and now as I read it! God is wonderful isn't he? You will need to remember the beauty of that moment forever :)
Hugs and kisses
"Almost Scottish"!
