Weekend Fun!

We had a nice weekend here in St. Louis. Saturday was quite the busy day. Mommy and Daddy have been doing a workout thing in the morning which has been a lot of fun...and alot of pain, but all worth it. So we went and did that and then headed out to O'Fallon to start the first of many weeks of swim lessons for Aidan!

He is a "Pike" this year and the class on Saturday was the first ever that Mom or Dad were not in the water with him. He did great though! After a rough start, with some tears, he got to be the "diesel engine" of his class and led everyone down the pool's edge holding on to the side. When they got to the corner of the pool, he then was the "caboose"! Another parent's child then decided to push off from the edge and actually "swim" (they have float belts on) and I commented, "Wow! There's a daredevil", when sure enough, I look back and Aidan and he's swimming and kicking out in the middle of the POOL!!!! Holy Moly! He was kickin' those legs and flapping his arms, and was staying afloat...however, he was having so much fun that he forgot to close his mouth and took on some water...so that was the end of the fun for that...but wow, I think our guy is going to be a swimmer dude! All in all, I think he had a great time and can't wait to go back and see his friends and his teacher, Miss Jennifer. I forgot the camera and the cell phone pics we got were yuck, so we'll have some swim time pictures next week!

Little E is doing well too. Been a rough week for the guy and we're still trying to get better. Probably a respiratory virus, but it's kept him down for the better part of 4 days. Viruses are tough, there's just nothing you can do to stop them, you can only treat the symptoms. Plus it's led to another ear infection, which puts us at the golden "3 in 3 months" (actually this is #3 in 2 months, but who's counting) rule for tubes. I think I'm going to take him in tomorrow and get the scoop of getting what we want, which is a healthy baby (Aid's never had an ear infection since his tubes were put in). So, wish us luck with the little man...he's such a trooper and you feel so bad for him when he's under the weather. Poor Pookie!

But, alas, he WAS happy today....and we got some shots of him and his big bro:

`
We moved the furniture out of the living room to clean the carpets, so Aid had some space to get his soccer moves on...here's the action shots.

`
A couple of happy guys!

Finally tonight, a GREAT video by Mommy of Mr. E talking up a storm. He was SO happy here, I just loved it...and his brother, my goodness how these two boys love each other. They are like Bo and Luke Duke. Yeeeeee Haaa!!

News from emmy's green....a new post on the "Dirty Dozen"...head over to check it out!

Have a great night everyone!

So cute. Ethan is just talking up a storm. Poor little guy, hope he gets better soon. Is Aidan practicing to be a soccer player? Looks like he has the talent. Can't wait to see you all this weekend.

Love and kisses
