700th Post!!!

Wow! Seven Hundred Posts! 700! All the great things that have happened since the blog was founded on May 26, 2006 is so humbling and amazing...it's hard to put into perspective how our lives have been changed for good since the start of this website.

Well, we had a week this week. It's been widely known amongst friends and family that the sickness bug arrived at the FFA in December and is still not leaving this place. It has been a rough winter for sure. E's had 3 ear infections in 2 months, pnuemonia twice and many, many yuck colds....Aid's had a few yuck colds, and now pneumonia, as diagnosed this week by Dr. Mayer. Dad has been generally healthy a few colds here and there, including one with a fever that lasted for 8 days (!), and Mom too has had a few colds and illnesses. But, after a week of warm weather hopefully the bugs will depart. In either case, I would like to announce that we now have a resident doctor on-site at the FFA. Mom went to the doctor on Monday and has a full blown ear infection herself....luckily for us...Doctor Aidan Frost, M.D. was here to help!

`
Dr. Aidan is here at your service.

`
I've got my medical box full of all my important tools, including my "beeper"!
`
`
Mommy, I think you need a shot....:(

`
...but I'll give it a kiss to make it all better!.....:)

`
I should probably look in your mouth...

`
...and in your ears, too!

`
Better get a close look at this one....Yup, it's infected!

`
Just for good measure, I'll check your teeth! Looks good!

`
Your pulse feels good Mommy, a little fast....but that's probably because your nervous...I promise I'll be gentle.

`
Warning: Crack Kills! :)

`
I should probably check your temperature like you do to me....

`
...and check your blood pressure....

`
....you'll feel it get tight, but that's OK.

`
Now, let's listen to your heart....I'm concentrating really hard Mommy, see my tongue!!

`
OK, let me give it to you straight....I think you're in good shape overall. The left ear has an infection. Take some anti-biotics for 10 days and give me a call if anything changes. You know where you can get ahold of me! ;) Love, Dr. Aidan
`
Not to be left out is our "green baby"! Keep checking emmy's green for more valuable information on being green!
`
`
Mr. Green Man!

`
Now onto more Aidan, it had been awhile since we had gotten some good headshots of him. So today after nap we captured: the great, the funny, the bad and the down right perfect of our little 3 year old....he is beautiful and we are so, so blessed to have him (and his brother, of course!)

Mean-ish or something.....and funny guy!

Smiley....perfect.

Our big guy...March 14th, 2010!
`
Hope everyone had a great weekend....enjoy the extra hour of light tonight!
Have a great night.
Ty, Emmy, Aidan and Ethan

Love the doctor kit. Where did you get it, if you don't mind me asking. I love the crack kills disclaimer, so cute! Well, I hope you guys feel better, sick parents and kids probably don't make for a happy house.
