It's Heatin' Up!

Well, summer was upon us this weekend with temps in the upper 80s both days. Spring goes by so fast here in St. Louis that you really have to take advantage of those 70 degree days!

We had quite a busy weekend here. All day Saturday and Sunday Daddy worked on the house, and I'm talking 8AM til 5 PM. Mommy was a godsend by taking care exclusively of the little guys all weekend long and running them through the gamet of tasks that we do every weekend while I worked. Thank you Mommy.

This weekend I was able to powerwash about 3/4 of the house, powerwash and seal the driveway, powerwash (I love to powerwash) the deck after replacing 10-12 boards that had rotten and then I painted/stained the deck. It was arduous and I am tired. But all the things that were done needed to be done in preparation for Ethan's big #1 party in June.

But alas, there was some time to play...here's some pictures and a movie from today:

We finally convinced Aidan to drive in his go-kart that he got for his FIRST birthday. Up until now he had been scared of it, but now, we can't get him out of it!

While Aidan was off qualifying for the Indy 500, Mommy found herself a little laundry helper...

This morning Mommy found a task that wears both boys out....and they loved it!

One of Aid's favorite things to do as an infant was take rides in the laundry basket...now we have a double!

After all the work was done today, Daddy needed to cool off so out came the beach ball! It took a little coaxing to get Aidan to drive in it, but he did in the end!

Ethan loved watching his big brother get wet!

Some of E's transition to table food has been difficult, but not tonight, he LOVED Daddy's ribs on the Weber Grill! Yum!

Have a great night,

Ty, Emmy, Aidan and Ethan

Glad you got everything completed this week-end that you set out to do. Hooray for Mommy's who are so good at being a "team player"! We can't wait to see the "finished product"!!!

Loved the post~!

Have a great week...

Mommy and daddy better keep their running shoes on! Looks like the races have begun. These two are just too cute for words! Can't wait to see them in a couple of weeks.

Love and kisses.
