A Very Happy Birthday Boy!

Well, hard to believe but our big guy turned 4 today...it also marked our 4th successful year of parenting! Woot woot for all of us!

Today was a great day for the big guy....woke up this morning to find presents including a big boy bike!

Big Boy = Big Boy Bike!

Kick them tires!

Another garbage truck? Really?

Nice gas station to use with his Matchbox cars....

Mookie Mookie was having fun too hangin' out with the birthday boy!

Up and ready to go to our next destination.

So our first destination was the Whittle Shortline Railroad, which turned out to be a little bit of fun and a lot of frustration. It seems several other parents have no clue how to keep their kids in-line or to teach them the proper manners (not that our boys are angels all the time) but still lady who dressed her kid in all green today, get with the picture.

So before we left I did snap a few shots and a movie of our last time ever to the WSLRR. :(

Ethan really got into the trains, until some 6 year old (yes six) butted into his way.

Aid held his own for most of the time, but the place got too crowded and we had lots of train gridlock.

So Daddy and Mommy pulled the plug on Whittle and we headed to Chuck E. Cheese for lunch.

It's a fun place, maybe not the most economical, but both Aidan and Ethan ate great and played many fun games.

Pizza, Salad, Milk and a great big smile = Awesome!

On the horse ride and hangin' on...

We got the boys back home, down for nap and back up again. We had some time to play with his new gas station, which, has a car wash that we imagined washing his cars super clean.

After a little bit of play, we headed out to dinner at Aidan's favorite....Red Robin. He loves their macaroni and cheese and mandarin oranges! And unbenownst to us, Tuesday nights Red himself makes an appearance....it couldn't have been more perfect for Aid's Birthday!!!!

Loving Mommy!

Ol Blue Eyes ate great too!

Aidan posing with Red from Red Robin!!!!!

"Fist bump explosion Mommy for seeing Red!"

They brought out a huge sundae and got together to sing him Happy Birthday!!

Well, Aidan had brought amazing joy to our life, changed it forever, so for the better. This little being, starting so small, sometimes in a precarious and scary condition, has now grown into this smart and very personable little boy. With stories, dreams and emotions that beyond what either Emmy and I could have ever imagined. A loving big brother and a perfect son...

Here's to you Aidan....Happy 4th Birthday Big Guy!

We love you,

Dad, Mom and Little Bro Ethan

Have a great night.
