Members Only

So this past week, we made a decision to join The Magic House Children's Museum in St. Louis. We did this primarily because when you join (at a certain level) you can become part of the Children's Museum Reciprocal Program which allows you to visits over 150 children's museums across the US for free. At the end of this month, we have a surprise trip for Aidan and Ethan to Philadelphia and their museum called the "Please Touch Museum" is supposed to be awesome (and expensive 15 a piece to get in), with our membership to TMH, we will almost pay for the membership just with one visit! Plus, we really like the Magic House now that their new renovation is done, so we'll make out like banshees with this membership, no doubt.

So I got an email from them this morning that said that they had a Members Only party tonight from 6-8 that was themed "PJs and Teddy Bears". Everyone was supposed to dress in their PJs and come and enjoy the museum. It was fantastic. The place was nearly empty. We were able to spend as much time as we liked on the things that the boys loved and not have to worry about overcrowding. It was so much fun. Sure, it's got the boys off schedule a bit, but it was worth it. Here's some pictures and movies!

Their latest travelling exhibit is "Bob the Builder" They have all the characters doing their fun and digging stuff!

I think E was a little freaked by the photographer (not Mommy), but that Aidan is always up for a picture!

This was really cool, you pull up the cord, it makes a sheet of soap and then blow and it makes HUGE bubbles. You can see Aid's just exploding in the center of the picture.

We couldn't pull the boys away from this wall of gears, especially Ethan. He loved matching up the teeth and making them turn. An engineer in the future? Maybe :)

Sand play is always a favorite, especially when they have these awesome spinners!
