Grammy T and Aunt Natalie flew into town on Christmas Eve and we had a fun afternoon and evening with cookie decorating, Honeybaked Ham and fun and games.
The big guy was a great cookie decorator! Really took his time and made some nice looking cookies!
Ethan too did great, although many a time we saw him sneaking a finger into the icing...little stinker!!
A Blue Angel (and a nice police lego boat to the left I might say!)
Mookie and Natalie, with the first batch of cookies completed.
The OFFICIAL taste tester :)
Mookie!!! Only decorate the cookies and no finger tasting!! :)
I think we ended up with four dozen and a big fun mess!
Mommy and the boys...
Some of the final products! Looking good and yummy!
The boys were really into the whole Santa thing this year so we set up cookies, milk and carrots (for Rudolph of course).
Mommy and Daddy gave them their matching Santa jammies....just for the special Christmas Eve night sleep!
And Santa delivered...as he always does!
Santa got Aidan an authentic Lego Airport (from 1987, really) that to me, still is the best Legos out there.
We had to wake poor Mooks up, he may look a little sleepy here, but before you knew it, he was tearing into the presents!
Fun times!
Lego planes that are the perfect size for little Ethan hands!
Here we go!!!
Now we're full speed!!
He loves anything Lego....
Lego City gains a Pizza shop and Bike shop...and a city bus!
Daddy with the 2011 World Series Blu-ray (go Cardinals), awesome show!
Winner winner chicken dinner....Mommy got herself an Ipad 2.
Aunt Natalie really won out on these two items. Called Trunkies, theire little suitcases for the boys that they can ride through the airport when we go on all our travels. They have a pull strap too that we can pull them through if they get tired. We'll use these so much that the wheels will fall off...awesome gift Nat!
We couldn't keep them away from the Legos, they even had other presents to open!
Aunt Nat is good with green.
Thanks Uncle Spencer for the chopper. We'll keep you up to date on the other item....
Instead of Mommy Ipad time, it became Ethan game playing time on the new Ipad 2.
Now, the world stopped when we pulled out the next awesome gifts from Grandma June and Grandpa Bud. All toys/books/Ipads/etc. became yesterday's news when these bad boys were opened. Watch below!
Thank you Grandma and Grandpa....the boys love them!!
So while Daddy and Aidan built three complete Lego sets, the rest of the crew worked on craft time. Here's E working some stampers!
Finally our Christmas Night ended with a Bellini bar, Mini Beef Wellingtons, potatoes and green beans. All made by Mommy! It was an awesome dinner!
That's all for now folks. We've got a huge day coming up here on Wednesday....can you believe that Aidan is going to be FIVE!!! Check back then for more fun and Aidan's big 5 year old movie spectacular!!!
Have a great night,
Ty, Emmy, Aidan and Ethan
