The Heat is ON!

Seriously, this is early/mid-March and now we've had 6 straight days of temperatures above 80 degrees.  Earliest ever that we've had to turn on the air conditioning and earliest that I've had to mow the grass (the latest ever was December 12th BTW)...but I digress...we've recovered from the crazy WDW vacation and now are settling back into normalcy.

And what seems to be the norm for kids of Aidan's age are birthday parties.  On Sunday, his little "girlfriend" Ella had her birthday party at The Magic House.  I think everyone had a good time even though the party was pretty small.

As for the other side of fun, Mooks hung out with Mommy and was very excited to see his bro once we got home. Being that it's been ridiculous warm here, all our flowers and grass are up and running full speed.  Check out our hydrangeas!  Every single one I planted in the Fall came up, 24 to be exact.

Even though the heat and the moles got me last year, in 2012, the STRIPES live!

We added two Rhododendrons in addition to some mulch to get the house looking nice so early!
