We started St. Joe's Soccer on Saturday. Aidan's team won 4-0 and Aidan played great!
He received his uniform before the game and although they don't have a team name yet, Aid was given number 3 in a striking red and black uniform combination!
Ready to play!
Little bro ready to cheer him on too!
Rockin' the Pumas! Ready to run!
Aid's a little guy but makes it up with tenacity!
I think Ethan enjoyed the $1 popcorn more than the game...oh well :)
Aid played well the entire game, but there was one moment when he took the ball from about midfield and dribbled it awesomely down towards the goal. His final kick was a bit far out, but the goalie committed a foul and picked the ball up outside of the goalie box. After this play, Aid kicked it to Tim and the team scored! Assist Aidan! Here he is full motion and full speed...very exciting play!
Lots of determination there!
Today we decided to get out and enjoy nature with a hike at Castlewood State Park. We had never been there before, but Mommy's been looking for some fun places to hike and this place didn't disappoint! It's about 40 minutes south of where we live nestled along the Meramac River. The first trail we took was called "Rivers Edge" and sure enough, we were right along the river's edge!
The boys loved running through the woods! Laughing the whole time.
At the river!
Looks good and even has a beach. Back in the 1900s this park is where the elite of St. Louis would come and dance, swim and party. I believe that beach, known then as Lincoln beach was a very popular place!
C'mon Aidan hold up that tree!!
Next up, we wanted to go and get to the top of the bluffs that overlook the river. Lone Wolf Trail was the name but to get to the top of the bluffs, you had to climb this enormously rocky and steep trail...but our boys and Mommy did it no problem! They are true hikers!!
We made it to the top!! What a view!
At the top there were more trails, so fun to walk down them!
The Hiking Brothers made it to the top!
Mommy and the guys!
Another view down the river.
Taking a water break and enjoying the beautiful day!
After we got back we had a picnic lunch, played a bit and then the boys took naps until nearly 4PM. That's how you wear them down, take 'em on a 5 mile hike up and down through the mountains! Both boys did great...real troopers today.
That's all for tonight, thanks for reading. Have a great night,
Ty, Emmy, Aidan and Ethan

Looks like you have a soccer star on your hands. I will send the postcard address to my husband's cousin who lives in China. You said all over the world, correct?
Nicole Holmes-Coughlin
