Let's start with Papa Steve's visit the week prior to Thanksgiving...my Dad came over and we hit up the St. Louis Science Center for the first time...cool place and check out their newest addition! A F-18B Blue Angel! Nice!!
The Science Center is a cool place, including an overpass with these cool windows that you can look down at cars passing by...
The Boys loved playing with this "Hurricane Simulator" which showed the importance of four sided roofs when there are straight line winds (i.e. the roof on the left blew right off!)
Aid got to play with this crane and pick up some gravel...neat exhibit.
And how can you not capture the awesome tornado!! My favorite!!!
Sunday was another new experience as we headed to the Edward Jones Dome to see the St. Louis Rams play the NY Jets....the Rams lost, but the boys did have fun!
Announcing the Rams with FIRE!!
Aidan got the National Anthem down :)
Our seats were in the stratosphere, but still not too bad...
The Rams are Aid's favorite team and he just enjoyed being at the game, even though they stunk it up big time!
Next up, Grammy T came in on Thanksgiving!
And when Grammy comes, she loves to cook with us! Here she is making Tomato Pudding!
The chefs of the day! What a great bunch of cooks they are, and the meal they made....awesome!
It was amazing weather on Thanksgiving...I mean, we were in shorts! While I fried the turkey, we kicked the soccer ball and had fun raking leaves!
Well....Mookie doesn't look so happy doing work :)
One of our favorite traditions during the Thanksgiving season is putting up the Christmas stuff the day or so after...
Aid diligently put up his tree in his room....
....a masterpiece!
Lovin' on Mommy as we put up the tree!
So when Grandpa John came in a few weeks ago and we went to the A-B Brewery, Mommy saw that they have a special "Beermaster" tour that you pay for, but they take you inside the factory and well off the beaten path of the normal "free" tour. On the Saturday that Grammy was here, Mommy and I had a date day and went for the tour...Two Words...Free Beer!
So you can see the Brew Kettles here, and the people on the free tour above...You can't come down here...na-na, na-na, na-nuh!
Brewin' up some good Natty Ice (see the sudsy in the viewing window)
Was a crisp day, but made for more beautiful pictures of the factory.
OK! Here is the Mother Lode! These tanks hold newly brewed (the freshest in the factory) Budweiser products!! THAT'S SOME BEER!!
AND WE GOT TO DRINK IT!!! Here's Mommy sampling some Bud, which was 4 hours old.
Yeah Daddy....great beer, unbelievably crisp and clean tasting!
And they gave us a hat too! What a great afternoon with Mommy!
We Are....Beermasters :)
So we got the lights up and running and the 4 (4!) Blow-mo's are up too!
And of course, when the tree goes up, the trains come back...
The boys and I found a train show to go and get some new trains on the Sunday. It was a cool show and we got some good stuff..;)
Here is a Z scale train...they are so small!
Lego City Railroad! Awesome!
They loved it!
Great visit with Grammy, we miss her!
We're still kickin' away with Indoor Soccer and Mookie Mooks is doing great! Such a great listener!
Daddy headed to Seattle again this week, my 7th trip there this year, for some meetings. While I was there, I saw my first 787! Nice!!
The needle looked good too!
And.....I got some great deals at the Seattle Sounders (MLS Soccer team in Seattle) on some Unis for the boys! They are going to be Sounders fans now for sure!
That's all for tonight! Sorry it was so quick...we had a fantastic weekend this weekend (temperatures were record high today at 75F degrees!!), but I post those pictures a bit later.
Thanks for reading!
Have a great night!
Ty, Emmy, Aidan and Ethan
