Nice Goal! Nice Celebration!
So next up, let's get to a few days before Christmas. Mommy noted as she having the boys help wrap Daddy's Christmas presents that they were really getting into it. So I grabbed the camera and took a few shot of the boys wrapping Mommy's presents! Yep...they were into it!
E's been doing great on his writing and now he can get a few of the letters of his name...pretty great for a 3 year old big guy!
All Smiles as the boys got into the present wrapping spirit!
Aid helped his brother cut the right amount of paper for Mommy's present!
Add the tag and we were ready to put it under the tree!
Ethan put the biggest bow he could find for his present to Mommy!
Next up, the boys made cookies and for some unknown reason, we never got a picture of the final products!!!
Oh well, here's some bakers having some fun with dough...
Cookie Time Indeed! A Frost Family Holiday Tradition!
So at this point, let's segregate out Christmas by those who definitely spoiled our little ones this year with gifts....
First up, Grandpa John...
The boys were quite intrigued by the size of the two boxes that Grandpa JohnnyBingo sent to us for Christmas. When opened, a very cool marble play-set from FatBrain Toys appeared and it gave both the boys and Daddy some fun building to do...
Seconds after this pic was taken Mookie Mooks lost his balance on the stool and knocked the entire design down! Mooks!!!
But THAT meant building a cooler creation on the coffee table for some marble fun!
And check this out! An Edible Arrangement for all of us! Thank you Grandpa Johnny Bingo!!
Next up is Grandma June and Grandpa Bud (Great Grandparents to the boys)....they got some very fun and unique items for the boys....
Brothers were loving all these presents! They couldn't wait to rip'em open!!
OK! Now we're talking! Ethan and his 3' tall stuffed giraffe...he loves giraffes!!
He appropriately named this giraffe, "Monkey"...why? We, because he wanted to name him "Monkey". Welcome, Monkey.
Soccer and giraffes....can't go wrong there.
Now we're gettin' fun....a giraffe hat and integrated mittens??? What???
Ohhhh....and a slot car raceway with a '57 Chevy?? That was one of Grandpa Buds favorite cars and now the boys get to race'em!
Speed racers....go!! Thank you Grandma June and Grandpa Bud!!
Aunt Natalie was up next, with some fun things that the boys just love....
Aidan loves space...and can name all the planets so this puzzle was a real big hit!
And Mookie and Mommy worked on the Animal puzzle that she got him too!
Ta-Da! A finished product!! Thanks Nat for the puzzles and books and good stuff for Mommy and Daddy too!! Thanks for being part of it with us using Grammy's FaceTime!
OK, Papa Steve sent over some fun things too and the boys were rip-roaring and ready to open!
OHHHH!!! Red Robin...Aidan's favorite place! :)
Reading the three movie titles to all of us....such a great reader he is!
Mickey books....you can never go wrong with Mickey and books...best of both worlds....Thank you Papa Steve for all the great stuff.
OK, now on Christmas Eve, we open our gifts to each other....so....
Elmo Santa Jammies!!
A gift from my big guy Ethan!! What!?!
Very nice ornament E!! I like it!!
Ohhh and Mommy got another couple of trinkets for her Pandora Bracelet....very cool!
Christmas Eve this year was very special because we got to spend it with Grammy P and Grandpa Jim....they love our favorite Mexican restaurant, La Carreta, so we had it for dinner on Christmas Eve!
Feliz Navidad!!
We decided to open P and Jim's presents on Christmas Eve too, just because it is so crazy on Christmas morning....
Aidan got a Little Tikes Cornhole (bag toss) set...who would have known that a game that started up in Cincinnati would get so big that now they have kids' versions of it!?!
Watch out Nashville, Ethan got the guitar that he had wanted!
He played that thing until his fingers nearly bled....seriously, both he and his big bro got blisters from playing so much!!!
Looking good Mooks....play me some music!
Here is rousing rendition of Jingle Bells....ears beware :)
And finally, with T-Ball coming in the Spring, it's now time to start training Aid!
Thank you Grammy P and Grandpa Jim for coming over to St. Louis and sharing this special time with us!
Well, with Christmas Eve upon us, it was time to say goodbye to Willie the Elf, our "Elf on the Shelf" who watches over the boys and reports back to Santa each night on how well everyone has behaved. You can see Willie if you look close behind Santa on our mantle.
Oh Christmas Morning...luckily the boys slept in a bit and didn't have us up at the butt crack of dawn. They were very excited to see that Santa came and left all sorts of fun stuff for them.
Oh my goodness, Santa much own the wrapping paper factory!
New books for a big reader = Very Good!
More puzzles...
Trying hard to get through Santa's great wrapping ;)
Aid loves geography...he loves learning about the many countries in the world...so cool.
Trains on the Brains!
Lego Train! Thank you Santa (signed: Daddy)
A new real soccer goal, just like at Vetta!
And Daddy got to open the big Family present this year...iMac!!! Time to relearn how to use these goofy machines!!
Santa, Rudolph and Willie all left thank you notes!
Time to play!!....
And build...
And play some more! Choo Choo!
Aid built the Lego Train all by himself! No help!
What a great builder!
Holy #$#%*! Look at Lego City now!
Wow...that is a busy and crowded place. Good thing they have an airport with three control towers :o
OK! Great Christmas this year...great gifts, great family and great food!
Now, let's skip forward to December 28th....a very special day for a very special 6 year old!
We went and got Grammy T at the airport after having a special birthday breakfast at Cracker Barrel, per the big guy's request. And after lunch...sure enough birthday presents appeared!! And big ones!!
Grandpa John got the cool NHL hockey table game...
More fun items from Grandma June and Grandpa Bud...
You can't go wrong with puzzles from Mommy and Daddy...
And a HUGE present...which was....
A nice keyboard that Aidan will get to practice on now that we have him starting in piano lessons! Come the first weekend in January, he'll be tickling the ivories!
And you must have a bench to play your keyboard on! Thanks Grammy P and Jim!
Play on Beethoven!
Play on Tchaikovsky!
Hockey time now that no hockey will likely be played for real this year!
And a special Birthday Dinner at Red Robin! Complete with balloon and sundae!
After we returned, we opened Christmas presents from Grammy T...
Lego Shoes! What!!?!?
I think he feels something....
...more Lego Shoes!! Yes!!!
Grammy went with a combo Christmas present for the boys this year and boy do they love it...A JUMPOLINE!! (Ethan calls it a jumpoline, instead of a trampoline!!)
Here we go....after I got it all together, none other than PSY came out to perform while they danced...
Jumpoline!!!
OK...we're not done yet! Now, let's talk about yesterday, 12/29 and the day of Aidan's birthday party with all his friends at Vetta!!
So Mommy and Daddy worked hard to make the favors for his party and one thing we made were crayons shaped like Minifigures, since after all his party was a Lego theme party.
Here is my army of Lego Crayon men...:)
Happy Birthday Aidan birthday cake!! Decorated with Legos!!
Aidan wanted to play soccer with his friends, so they did 1/2 hour of soccer on the pitch first...
They really got into it!!
Goalie Aidn watched close all his school friends have fun!
After soccer then came bounce house!! E found an empty one and had a bouncy time fun until....
More Monkies came in to jump with him!
Kids love these inflatables!
Water Break for both jumpers!
The giant slide was the fan favorite!
This doesn't look like a good idea!!
And they crash down to the bottom...the little boy with the grey and red is Jacob, Aidan's favorite friend in class.
Nice Smiles...
Silly Smiles....
Onto Pizza and Cake...
There's a happy partier!
Light 'em up!!
A big birthday boy...he told us that he had a wonderful birthday...excellent!
Here's the big song, sorry ears again :)
Whew....that's all! I'm caught up! Man oh man, what a great couple of days....thanks for hangin' in there and sharing it with us.

Ty, Emmy, Aidan and Ethan!
