After a short drive (3 hrs) in from Indy on Friday Morning to Mansfield, Grammy surprised the boys with a "camp out" in the bedroom complete with a tent! They didn't both end up sleeping in it, but Aidan did and said that it was great!
That Mookie, what a cutie pie!
If we ever go camping (unlikely), I think we'll need a bigger tent :)
Aunt Natalie came up too from Columbus to hang out with her nephews!
We took the boys to the Little Buckeye Children's Museum in Mansfield...it wasn't too bad. Lots of cool hand made exhibits that likely wouldn't last in a big city children's museum, but were just the ticket for two boys who were ready for fun!
Oh water play....oh no rain jackets...time to go boys!
Perfect portraits :)
Ethan may have found his calling, that is, if he could do work on Dragons :)
Showin' us the pearly whites
Very proud of this big guy. Knew every capital and every state and put up the matches all by himself. A couple were missing, but still...he's in kindergarten...and knows every one!! People were coming by and cheering him on...what a smart guy! Does he know his U.S. States and Capitals? Heck yeah!
Next it was on to the Richland County Carousel...which is a pretty famous one, mostly because it is the first hand carved wooden carousel built in the US since the 1930s...very cool animals too!
The main reason to visit this time was to see these guys...at the Palace Theater in Columbus...super close up and really good...great show.
Mommy and I spent the night away from the boys in Columbus which was great :)
When got back up to Mansfield, we were greeted by two happy boys and....
two inches of snow!
Because Mom is so close to New Philly and Uhrichsville (about 1 1/2 hours), we headed over to visit Emmy's Grandma June and Grandpa Bud and the boys Grandpa John (aka JohnnyBingo) :)
The boys with Grandpa Bud.
It was very nice seeing all of them, including Stacie, Chris and Aunt Zoozie...and thank you too to Grandma June for the cherry pies!
It's JohnnyBingo at Emmy's favorite hometown pizza place, Pangrazio's Pizza!
And the boys with Grammy at her great place in Mansfield...looking forward to when we can come back Ma.
On the way back home we stopped in and saw Papa Steve for a bit too...so all in all a successful family trip! Thank you to all who made this so fun and enjoyable. We love you and will see you again soon.
That's all for tonight, have a great night.
Ty, Emmy, Aidan and Ethan
