Catching Up

Well, the tornado and our vacation to Seattle has this blog all backed up.

So, let's go back to Memorial Day weekend when Grammy P came up from Tennessee to see us!

First thing...the POOL IS BACK OPEN!!   So we were there as soon as the clouds cleared!

First swim of the year!  And it was COLD!!

Back in action...love the pool!

Flying Jets!

On Sunday before Grammy arrived, we all got up and going for a hike at Weldon Springs Conservation Area...it was pretty fun because there was a lot of mud and other things on the trail, this made it a "game" to miss the dangerous mud pits!

We named this the "Octopus Tree"

Snackin' it on the trail!

Aidan's the scout, always up front and looking for danger!

Big E in the Big Tree!

Grammy arrived Sunday night, just in time for some fun at La Carreta and then she relived Mommy and I for the night so we could go to the movies together! It was the first movie that we had seen together since....before Aidan!  6+ years!

Monday we got up early and headed for a bike/walk around Creve Couer Lake!

It's an old favorite and the boys did great riding the 3+ mile loop!

We had planned on driving over to Illinois to do some strawberry pickin' but as we were leaving the Lake, I spotted strawberry pickers right next to where we were.    The berries were pretty good, vine ripened and not overly big or spoiled.

Aid finding the perfect juicy strawberry!

E got one!

You can see that there were still plenty to be picked!

Grammy and Aidan, Strawberry Pickers

Mookie HAD to try one out first! It was great he said!

Big guy rockin' the UC Sweatbands...picking up the strawberries!!

Finally, Thursday before the tornado hit, Aidan graduated Kindergarten.  He passed with flying colors and is direct to 1st Grade! Yeah Aidan!  Mookie's done great too and before long will graduate to the last room in the Mercy Daycare...the Watermelon Room!!!

Big big guy!

Graduating Brothers!

That's all for now, will post the Seattle Vacation (which was stellar) in a bit!

Have a great night!
Ty, Emmy, Aidan and Ethan
