First...as we were ending the last blog post, I had finished up with my 3rd trip to India in November. One major thing that we failed to post on is the finishing of our basement.
We had been talking for some time about getting our basement fixed up and made into a living space, bathroom, workout room and play room for the boys. Well, we finally pulled the trigger, hired a contractor, and started the fun!

So that's it for now...it's much more finished now...but we'll wait until we get the area more cleaned up for the final pics :)

Now onto the next order of biz...another int'l trip ended my 2013. This one was a jaunt over to South Korea to complete an offset project that was worth over $140M to my company. It was a big one...and one that I have been leading for about 2 years. The system that we had built (and tested this past Spring in White Sands NM), finally made it to Korea. And it was time to set it up, test it and get the heck out of Dodge.
Korea was OK...I'm not much of a Korean food guy, and the city I was in was a very small, non-commercialized place...so the comforts of western food, culture and whatnot, were not there. But we made due, tried to have some fun and most importantly, got the job we needed to do done.

Eating in Korea was a challenge. This above is a noodle bowl, which was fine except for the seaweed in the upper right corner.
The best Korean food I had was the Korean BBQ above. Marinated pork cooked in front of you. Of course, I made 100% sure that mine was cooked thru.
And the bad...took one bite...No like.

Can't forget breakfast every morning at the French Bakery. Cinnamon and Sugar roll with a Blackberry soda. Yum.

Funny picture here...he told us he was under strict rules not to look at us and smile. But he caught me and I caught him...and we got that genuine Aidan smile. Nice!
OK, Above was our Breakfast with Santa...the lighting wasn't to hot and E was a little scared...maybe next year.
The boys made Christmas cookies with Mommy while Daddy was in Korea..looking good!
Johnny Bingo got us a fun little toy for Christmas, XBOX 360 with Kinect. The boys LOVE playing soccer.
