The stars at night are big and bright....deep in the heart of Texas!!

Well, we made it down with out any problems to San Antonio! Aidan was PERFECT on the airplane rides...he slept a little then played games with everyone: us, the guy next to us, the nun across the aisle, the lady behind us, the flight attendants and even the ground crew people were playing peek-a-boo with him! It was hilarious; we were sitting in the very front and out of the one window you could see the jetway where people entered the plane. I had Aidan looking out the window to see the people and this flight attendant lady for Southwest was tappin' on the glass, moving in and out of view saying peek-a-boo and Aidan was just laughing like crazy. I'll tell you though, the experience we had today with Southwest was fantastic. They catered to us like we were royalty, with little things (extra graham crackers for Aidan, lids for our drinks, and taking out extra time to entertain Mr. A. Well done SWA!

The above picture and below picture is us on the Riverwalk boat tour in downtown SA. Aidan slept through most of it, but he was exhausted after the flights. Today was a pacifier day for sure since he was so off schedule...

Sleepin' on the boat! Silly baby!

Like I said earlier, Aidan did great today. Here he is in his stroller with his good luck Boeing 777 airplane Daddy got him and pointing out the window at our plane when it taxied into the gate in STL.

I didn't get too many good pictures in the plane (lighting was bad, we were cramped as usual, etc.), but here he is at our layover in Houston trying out the seat belt and in flight playing with the windowshade.

Those of you who read our blog that have travelled around know that the world is not set up for a family with a child...for sure. No more is this more shown than Mr. Aidan eating his lunch in the baggage claim area of the SA airport. Note, he's sitting on our luggage, eating off a stool/bench thingy that people sit on waiting for their bags. Nice. In the second picture, I demostrate a purchase that I made yesterday. The weather when we left STL this morning was 9 degrees. The weather here was nice, but only about 55. I got this JJ Cole Bundle Me toddler addition for Aidan's stroller thinking that we might need it for here if it was cold. I'll tell you folks it was essential...as it kept him warm all day long. Best purchase I've made in a while, irregardless how expensive it was.

Here's some pictures of the world famous Riverwalk and the San Antonio River. It's really pretty nice, lots of shops and restaurants and great landscaping.

Here's our mighty vessel we took during the tour of Riverwalk and Daddy and Aidan hangin' loose.

We went to Rainforest Cafe tonight for dinner (I know, I know it's a chain, but we're having Mexican tomorrow and we didn't want to blow out if you know what I mean). Here's Aidan hanging out with the Rainforest Cameleon and petting a tiger!

Finally, new milestone alert!! Aidan sucked out of a straw for the first time at dinner. I thought it was pretty cool so we had to capture it here!

Thanks for reading about our day...."Remember the Alamo!" arrives tomorrow!

Ty, Emmy and Aidan

BTW: I posted tonight because after Aidan went to sleep there was nothing else to do! :o)

SO cute! He gets cuter everyday! I'm sure the SWA staff thought he was adorable...and such a good boy! He's a natural. Maybe that means that he's got "flyin in his blood!" We'll see...

Have a ball at the Alamo! Enjoy your family "mini" vacation! Just getting ready for the big kahuna in May :)

Love,
Mom
