Cold Day, Warm Day!

Well this weekend was the Jekyll and Hyde of weather. One day, Saturday, really cold, dreary and gray and the other day, today, warm and just beautiful! Hopefully there won't be any more days like Saturday and from here on out we're blessed with warmer weather!

So....Saturday. As many of you parents know, when it's cold out, you got to make due with inside. For Aidan, that included playing with his best friend Allie, and playing peak-a-boo with us.

Now....Today! It was awesome here today, almost clear skies, lots of sun and warm temps. Aidan got up a little early (530A; I guess he wanted to get on with his day), but did great through Church and Grocery shopping. When we got home, we cooked out on the deck. Daddy restained it this week as well as brought up the patio furniture from the basement, so it's lookin' nice! Aid loves the deck and his new ball we got for him to play with. All he kept saying was, "ball, ball".

After a good nap that allowed Mommy to get bills done and Daddy to get the grass mowed, he was ready to go again. He ate up a great dinner of chicken fajitas and then played "corn hole" or "corn toss" with us in the driveway! Now, he hasn't got the rules down yet, actually, he just takes all the corn bags and puts them in the center hole. That'll be 3 points every time for Aidan!!! Woo-hoo!

Anyways, another week begins and we're already looking forward to the next great weekend.
