So this morning we had a "relatively" big earthquake at the house. By some chance I was up with Aidan, who woke up crying about a minute before it hit. This was my first experience with an earthquake an it was very interesting, frightening to some degree. The house shook similar to when we get big wind, similar to a thunderstorm. I thought that it was that or worse, a tornado. But when I looked outside the trees were still. Emmy jumped out of bed and said, "Do you think that was an earthquake?", and sure enough that's what it was.
It was a 5.2 on the Richter scale, which is very, very big for our area. The epicenter was about 128 miles away from St. Louis, in southern Indiana.
So, removing the mole (see post below) has disrupted the balance and now we are in chaos. Sorry!

UPDATE 10:15A: We just had a big 4.5 aftershock...all the ceiling tiles and monitor screens here at work were shaking!

So funny! I did just turn on the TV to hear about it but I didn't feel anything. The Toledo stations said that it was felt as far away as Blissfield, Michigan. Could have fooled me!
So baby A was up that early??? What was the problem little pookie?

Wasn't that cool?!?!? We felt it too...jumped out of bed, checked the trees, and just said, "well, I guess that was an earthquake...awesome!"
