Celebrating Grammy T at the Race for the Cure!

Today was the 2008 Komen Race for a Cure in St. Louis and we were proud to walk in celbration of our Grammy T, my Mom, Tanya for being not a one time survivor but now a TWO TIME SURVIVOR! After last year's difficult finding and subsequent surgery, I'm very happy to report that Grammy T is doing wonderful and has a very healthy outlook on her life! Amazing how one year goes by so fast, here we are doing this last year: LINK

Soooo.....Today we CELEBRATE GRAMMY! Congratulations Mom, we are so proud of you for making it through all the hard days and nights with this terrible disease. We pray for your continued good health and always remember and celebrate those who's outcome from breast cancer was not as bright.

Auntie Elizabeth raced with us today in our bright pink St. John's Mercy Shirts, here's everybody before the race.

There were over 70 thousand people there to walk/race, here is the "Sea of People" looking forward and backward....Amazing!

Although Grammy couldn't be here with us today, she was definitely here in spirit...here's our dedication tags to her....WE LOVE YOU GRAMMY!!!!

Have a wonderful night,

Ty, Emmy and Aidan

Tyler, Emmy, Aidan and Auntie Elizabeth, I am humbled by your love and commitment to me and the Susan G. Komen "Race for a Cure". Thank you from the bottom of my heart and I promise that next year I will be there to walk and celebrate side by side with you. I was there in spirit and my heart walked the steps with you. I pray that my health will continue and that they will soon find a cure for breast cancer.

My cup runneth over....

Love,
Mom
