First Day....
Please disregard my absolutely horrendous glasses. What was I thinking!!??
Last Day....
He can BARELY fit on Mommy's lap!
Here they are, one last time into Mercy for the big guy....Mookie Mooks has just two years and then we are free of daycare!
So tonight we met his new teacher, Mrs. Dickey and she was very nice. Aid got to meet all his classmates, including at least one that we recognized from Old Hickory. The room had all sorts of fun things to do and lots and lots of books to read. We left him alone with the teacher and the class and when we came back in he was laughing and playing with some new friends over by the chalkboard. He has it folks!!
We also introduced him to Mr. Brinkler who is the Computer teacher. This is where Aidan will be dropped off first thing in the morning, since his normal school starts at 750A, which is about an hour after Mommy and Daddy start, so he'll get some time in the morning to hone some computer skills in a beautiful Apple computer lab. It is very nice and very new. Mr. Brinkler said that he would work with Aid on mouse skills and perhaps my guess is that he may get into typing too! That would be fantastic.
The school was packed and a little overwhelming, but Nums just jumped in there like it was old hat. We are so proud of the little man he's become and are so looking forward to his school-aged life. It'll be a great time. The school came by this weekend, and because we're new parents to the school, put this sign in our front yard, welcoming us....I got Aid to get into his school uni and take a shot....
That's all for tonight. Mommy took the day off tomorrow to take the boys out on one last day of fun! Daddy's stuck in stinky work all day :(
Look for us tomorrow with some highlights of the day and then of course on Thursday for our big guy's next big step.
Ty, Emmy, Aidan and Ethan

Soooooo handsome. Just as I knew he would be. I am thrilled that he is taking charge of the change and excited to do it. I am thinking good parenting!!!!
