More Peas Please!!

Tonight was the night, Aidan's now free from his cold...so it was time for some "real" food! We drew from a hat and peas won! Here he is, taking his first bites of food!

Tomorrow we are "Racing for a Cure" as part of the Komen Race for the Cure to promote Breast Cancer Awareness and, God willing, a cure someday! I'll have some pics from our 5K walk tomorrow!

Third times a charm for those teefs and getting dried off after bath time!

I Give You....The Ducky Tub.

There he was having a great time tonight in his new tub that Grammy T got him! Last night, he just about did a backflip out of his other tub, so we've now upgraded!

That's all for now...Daddy's still trying to get to those darn cornhole boards...and the Monkey Bathroom....and powerwashing the house....and fixing the hole that Allie chewed in the carpet....and the list goes on!

Oh well..."So much time, so little to do...Uh, strike that, reverse it."

Betcha can't guess what movie that line is from. I'll give you a hint....snozzberries.

Baseball Sunday!

So the Bialczak's graciously invited us to the ballpark for today's game and guess what.....THEY WON AGAIN! That's 2 for 2 with Baby Aidan...and get this....they won by the same score as the first game! 9-6 Albert Pujols, the Cardinal's best player, had TWO home runs! It rained through much of the first few innings, but cleared up and we had a very nice time! Thank you so much Godmother Elizabeth and St. Louis "Grandparents" Bill and Janet! Here's some shots from today!

Bill and Aidan at their parking lot before the game and Albert right before blasting a 2-run HR.

Hangin' with his Godmother and watching the game. Oh so intently!

All bundled up from the rain showers and blowing raspberries for Mommy!

"Hey cute baby, the game's the other way!!!!"; and Mom, G-mom and Baby

Finally, Team Frost family shot and Baby and Godmother sharing a laugh or two.

Many Many Congratulations to our good friends Aaron, Nicole and Keiran Bricker, who on Friday, welcomed Tristan Glenn Bricker into the world. We got a short note and picture yesterday saying that all is well and everyone is thrilled to have a new son/brother in Indy! Congratulations Team Bricker!!!

Have a great night everyone!

A Bikin' Good Saturday!

Well, it was beautiful today here in St. Louis. Baby Aidan, Mommy and I started the day out nicely. Baby A fed well then went down for a good 2 hour nap, while Dad and Mom worked in the basement on Daddy's first "Off School" project. New Cornhole Boards! Dad did all the carpentry work, while Mom sewed the corn feed bags together. For those of you who don't know what Cornhole is, here's a link. It's a game that became hugely popular in Cincinnati when Emmy and I were in our Bachelor's School there. I'll get some pictures up in a little while once we get them finished.

We then headed out to Babies R Us for a special event that they had going on. Kindermusik is a dance and music class that actively involves both parents and babies in fun, interactive and engaging dancing, bouncing and singing. Emmy and I took a short 15 minute trial class and really had a good time. All the fun music that we sang and laughed to really got to Aidan as he laughed and giggled the whole time.

Next we headed over to Target to pick up what we thought was to be a jogging stroller...but after further talking...we don't jog. Or run. Or really walk fast. So, we decided to use the gift money we had for him on a bicycle carrier! Here in Missouri we have the Katy Trail, which is an old railroad track that's been compacted down flat and is used for biking across Central Missouri. The trail actually goes almost all the way to Kansas City! Anyways, before Em got preggers we liked to take a picnic and ride the trail. So now, Baby Aidan can come too! We tried with Allie and Aidan....and that didn't work so well, so she's outtie for now :(

A very Very VERY Special Happy Birthday to Emmy's Grandpa Bud today! 79 big ones...and now feeling great and enjoying life every single day! We love you Grandpa Bud!

Have a great night...we will DEFINITELY post tomorrow as there is more fun coming Sunday!

Teeth !?!

Yep. He's got 'em. The lower right front has broken through! We couldn't get a great picture of it, because the little rascal would push his tongue out, but in this one you can almost see the white line on his gums. It's amazing as you can feel the sharp bumps right on his gum line!

Daddy, now that I have teeth I'm ready for a T-bone!

We've started going full out with the rice cereal. Most of the time he does really well with it. He always wants to hold the spoon....and of course....he gets it absolutely everywhere! Enjoy the mess!

Look at how long that little man is!

A Happy 18th Birthday today to Mr. Trey Parsley!! Wow Trey, how time flies! Congratulations!

Have a great night!

Mission Accomplished!

So we made through our big road trip across the country!! Aidan did great...no fussiness, lots of sleeping and he got to watch "Cars" and "Curious George" for the first time. And Mom and Dad, though very sleep deprived, made it through the trip as well. It took us about 10 hours to get there (that's 8 and a half driving and 1 and a half hours feeding) and only about 9 to get home, since Mister A was able to go with only two feedings (as opposed to 3 on the way there). It's nice to be home though, the comforts, confines and routines are all now back to normal.

We had a great time in Ohio visiting with Emmy's family. Thank you so much for your wonderful hospitality (and cherry pie, Grandma June!) it was all wonderful! It was so nice seeing you...it's a shame we're not any closer. But life is life and they don't make fighter jets in Tuscarawas County, (but you know that if they did we'd be there!). Anyways, it was great being able to see BOTH Grammies, Grandpa John, Great Grandpa Bud, Great Grandma June, Cousins Stacie, Craig, and Chris and all others who came by to see our little man. Here's a bunch of pictures from our weekend. (Grammy P: I have many, many more, (I took 148 pictures this weekend), so we'll have to get together to see what other ones you may want to print.

Emmy's Aunt Lena and G-Grandpa Bud and G-Grandma June

Grandpa Bud having fun with Aidan. Incidentally, the second picture has been taken with every single child that either Bud and June had, or their children (Emmy's Mom, Aunts) had....and now the first Great-Grandbaby gets the same treatment!!!

Can you believe that first picture??? Our baby is 5 months old today and man doesn't he look like a little boy?? So old!!

The little man hangin' with Mom and Emmy's cousin Stacie.

Emmy with her cousin Kimmy and The Free Family at Pangrazios Pizza (Emmy's all time hometown favorite place)...it was good pizza, I'll admit!

The ladies with the "Ladies Man". And Grandparents with New parents!

Emmy's Uncle Ross and Rudy, and 4 Generations!

Aidan having fun with Grammy P and Emmy's Aunt Charlene

Now you wouldn't believe what I did with this picture. Grammy P had her eyes closed, so I took her head from a different shot (in which she's smiling) and pasted it back on to her in this picture. Can't tell that this was done can you????

Aidan with Grammy T, and uh, oh.....the middle finger rares it's ugly head again. AIDAN!!!!

Finally Aid on the way home watching "Cars" and Allie, well, doing what Allie does, sleep on the job while being my co-pilot!!!!

Hope you all had a wonderful holiday!
